Welcome to DenNoWriMo!
We are the former Denver region of National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, which was an international challenge to write a 50,000-word novel in the month of November. NaNoWriMo announced they were closing down earlier this year, inspiring us to carry on the tradition as Denver National Writing Month, or DenNoWriMo. And unlike NaNoWriMo, we offer events and community support year-round — so when November is over and the dust settles, feel free to join us for somewhat saner-paced writing!

We have an active Discord community, perfect for long-distance writers and night owls. Run writing sprints with the bot and connect with other writers, anytime or from anywhere.
For non-Discord users, we are working on building out our community on other online platforms. Join our Facebook group and start connecting to other writers! We may also host virtual write-ins here if there is interest.
